Ryan is one of our 3D designers, who has a love of toys, painting, skateboarding, sculpture, kids and music besides his love of design. He speaks fluent Japanese on top of his many talents and travels extensively.

See the picture above…I want you to notice all of those post-it’s on, around and attached to various objects at Styk’s desk…this is interesting since he is always teasing me about how many I have on the bottom of my computer. (Note: I currently only have 8 of ‘em, stacked to look like 4, and all contained in one area…who’s the real offender here!)
As the weeks go by, you’ll see that we have a lot of creative individuals around here from the contents on and around their desks-and most are not even found in the design department! I figured though, what better place to start than the head of creative 2D.

Well Friday’s “Anniversary BBQ” was a great success. Thanks to Mike, Irene, and Crystal for throwing down at the grill. Luke was on the Kodak moments and captured, the waiting, the lone grape burger, Corin slanteyed open-faced, the Suite 2206 plain jane, the pickle dorrito sriracha hor dourve and the mayo spittal in action. Thanks to the always unpredictable Seattle weather for giving us a good day. This sent some nice smiles home for the weekend.

Occasional chew toy for my dog (thanks Goose), run over by a car, dropped about 200 times, submerged (and left for dead) in 3 different pitchers of beer and the damn thing works perfectly!! Possibly one of the best phones ever (minus all the pocket calls) but every dog has its day.

Hey welcome everyone to the weekly Skip Report coming at ya from Utility Inc. in Seattle. We’re having a pretty fair day today. Let me fill you in on whats going on this week — we’ve been hella busy. Not just here at the warehouse but all over town we’ve been truly gettin down for our crown. Right now, some of us are at Safeco Field building cabinets and a back bar in the all star club located on the luxury suite level. A few more of us are at Southcenter building on the Jean Juarez salon.
Believe me — we’ve really been throwing down. And let me tell you why I think we are a great company. Our owner Todd and our president Bruce are phenomenal. Their out there looking like construction workers throwing down too.

Meanwhile back here at the warehouse, we’re working on our new masterpiece, the Isilon booth (which you will be able too see on a future Skip Report so stay tuned). Well you know I don’t have so much time today to kick it with you. Like I said, we’re hella busy so I need to get up and get down with the rest of the great people here at Utility Inc.
