Corin’s Noggin’

Corin sent us an e-mail about how he was coming in late today due to “a shot to the head.” I must say I was quite surprised to see him all bandaged up in some sort of post lobotomy daze. He says he was playing soccer last night and went up for a header and collided with another player. I think this is what really happened.

This photo was supposed to be in the last post. But I have no idea why Jynn gave it to me to put on the blog. I’m unaware of it’s context and instead of asking her what was going on, I’ll leave it up to you to caption this one.

Celebrate Good Times, Come On. 3/3.

Wrapping up this triple threat of celebratin’ was Mr. Nick Seliga’s 10 year anniversary BBQ celebration. 10 years? That’s forever in dog years! Even in human years, that’s a damn long time. And accordingly, we celebrated.

The table that they set up in the warehouse ALMOST won the Guinness Book of World Records “Longest table set up for the use of a company BBQ”. It came in at an astonishing 4,897 feet long. It was just 383 feet short of a mile, which is the current record held by our neighbors at the Taco Shop Muffler Place. Maybe next time, guys.

Celebrate Good Times, Come On. 2/3.

This is the Goodbye Intern round 2.

While 2D had the pleasure of seeing my face this summer, 3D had a much more pleasant face to look at.

Laura’s last day was yesterday, which is crazy because in less than a week Laura will be down in San Francisco, back in school. She had more than her share of chickens to get in order (packing, finding a place to live!), but she left them in the coop to spend her last days in Seattle “holding it down for the crown”.

What an intern.

I’m sure them 3-D boys could do a better job than I could at saying how much help Laura was for them, but her and I shared a desk pod (aka the iPod [internPod, get it?]), and I would look over and see her with sweat just pouring down her face, staring with a fiery intensity at the screen, clicking her mouse so hard that she had to go through FOUR while she was here. Most of that was lies, but she really did work her butt off for D.O.E., and she will be missed.

We celebrated her time here and wished her good luck with a little after work party!

Celebrate Good Times, Come On. 1/3.

Hey yo dudes. This is Greg the intern. You may remember me from such blog posts as the one below this, where for some reason I’m using a gigantic sandwich as a pillow. Now that it’s my last day here, Micah thought it was about time that I got my very own Skip Report account and I’m celebrating this by making three posts in a row about… CELEBRATIONS!

I guess it’s only fitting that I start this off by talking about myself. I had my very own celebration that happened last week. As I said before, this is my last day here at D.O.E. and since Styk is gone this week, Styk, Jynn, Corin, Micah and I all went out LAST week for a wonderful goodbye lunch at Smarty Pants.
