This is the Goodbye Intern round 2.
While 2D had the pleasure of seeing my face this summer, 3D had a much more pleasant face to look at.
Laura’s last day was yesterday, which is crazy because in less than a week Laura will be down in San Francisco, back in school. She had more than her share of chickens to get in order (packing, finding a place to live!), but she left them in the coop to spend her last days in Seattle “holding it down for the crown”.
What an intern.
I’m sure them 3-D boys could do a better job than I could at saying how much help Laura was for them, but her and I shared a desk pod (aka the iPod [internPod, get it?]), and I would look over and see her with sweat just pouring down her face, staring with a fiery intensity at the screen, clicking her mouse so hard that she had to go through FOUR while she was here. Most of that was lies, but she really did work her butt off for D.O.E., and she will be missed.
We celebrated her time here and wished her good luck with a little after work party!

INTERN POWER!!!!

Laura recieved a totally bad-ass road trip care package for her long trek down to the bay:
3 air-fresheners, a lottery ticket, a box of delicious animal crackers, a bag of sunflower seeds, a Detour energy bar, a lovely sea shell, a $40 gas card(!), a DOE tank-top and sticker sheet, a UT hat, a bottle of wine (don’t drink and drive Laura!), a Full Throttle energy drink, 10 bucks cash, a $5 starbucks card, and of course her very own Smorkin’ Labbit!
I’m pretty sure she’s ready.

She didn’t win anything from the Scratch Card, but she did get the empty thrill that only gambling can bring!

It was mentioned that neither Corin nor Bryce had yet received there very own Smorkin’ Labbit, so Bruce went and got a couple. Corin, fittingly, got the 1/50 BONDAGE Labbit. In the photo above he can be seen trying to smoke it.

In this photo, Laura and I found out that we weren’t going to get paid for our work this summer.
Just kidding, we already knew. I forget why we posed for a “Dejected Intern” photo.
Good luck down in San Francisco Laura! Get good grades and stay out of trouble, and do or don’t do other things that you should or shouldn’t do!
