Greg and I went to a rickety little deli on 1st the other day for lunch. I got an egg salad sandwich and Greg got the triple decker. He didn’t really read that there were THREE SLICES OF BREAD! Making the sandwich hilariously large. He ate half of it for lunch and the other half for dinner.
Super interesting, I know.

Wait…it’s called a triple-decker. You guys didn’t know that meant 3 pieces of bread? Why would it say triple and have only 2?
Although that is a huge sandwich (but yellow american cheese? gross).

I thought the “triple” meant the three varieties of meats. When I was reading the menu I got to the three meats and said to myself, “Whoa, I’m getting that.” And then I stopped reading the description.
