A UNIQUE GIFT IDEA
Monday, February 11th, 2008

Loving to give gifts to my favorite people, I’m always on the lookout for treats that will be unique to the recipient. Here’s one that I LOVE! Old School Pinup’s Photography based in North Seattle. Not only is it a unique idea for a gift, but it’s personalized with YOU.

Plus you’ll have a fun day making this gift, getting to dress up in a vintage outfit of your choice, on one of their many retro sets.

Lane, a burlesque teacher and hair & makeup artist, exposes your inner vixen; her husband Wagner, a longtime commercial photographer, uses soft lighting to show you at your best. What a perfect formula for a gorgeous memento of you! (You may want to make sure you get a copy for yourself!)

And no worries men, you can get in on the fun as well, and surprise your lady with you as the 50’s hero of a romantic pulp magazine cover, a scantily clad God of his own Tiki Land (hey, we ladies enjoy you with few clothes on, being seductive as well!) , or a WWII captain longing for his gal.

A grand time you and your doll will always remember. And the best part-this won’t set your bank account back to the 50’s either. An afternoon session with one set is only $250! Add a second outfit and set for only $100 more. Now bookmark this idea to impress!

I walked into our woodshop this morning to be greeted by a magical sylvan setting. If you look closely, you can see a satiated panda has eaten all of the leaves. (Ok, I kid.) These are to be a eucalyptus branch forest for the Westfield Mall project we’ve been working on. Can’t wait to see these in their final home.
