PEACE.

its already been three months. and my time here at doe is up. thanks for a bomb-diggity internship that rocks harder than big hard rocks. not only did i enjoy working in the land of beef jerky and soft raisins. but i learned more in my short time here than i have so far in my three years at the “state penn.” i only hope that my senior internship show will hold up to the doe standards. at least i know it is going to need to involve the outdoors, squirrel flair or squirrel taxidermy, metallic ink with fades and patterns, lots of bling, biodiesel, loving verbal abuse, and some form or maybe multiple forms of poop.
and there is no doubt that once the “secret” project is on the shelves in 2010 that i will be expecting some snowboarding/ski lessons. so try to be good and don’t hurt yourselves too bad. i don’t want to see pictures of full body casts on the skip report because someone tried to jump onto a blue angel from their boat. or because someone decided to get towed by a hydroplane.
thanks for all the yummy lunches. and no worries this won’t be the last you’ll here from me. so keep an eye out for some future messages.
peace my homie gee gangsters. much love. kaleena.

We have added some lovely projects to the DOE site. So if you haven’t seen it already, go check it out!
LUKE DAY.
Friday, August 1st, 2008
blue angels. grilled chicken and corn. salads. olives. egg rolls. a sunny day. and milk. another day in the life at DOE. where working hard lets you have a little fun. therefore, on this first day of august, it was time to get some good grub. so good that bbq sauce gets crusted onto your face. and then it was time to put your toes, feet, and broken ankles into the lake. while you share some laughs. appreciate great people. and have planes spell out your name. (by the way, on a low budget it only takes thirty six flight patterns to get all four letters in the sky.) and with that we deem this day of fun as LUKE DAY.
